I don't know really what draws me into shooting them. Maybe it's how their personalities show while they are in their respective elements. Maybe it's the insane amount of talent with every song they play, or the insane amount of courage with every wave they brave. Maybe it's their passion - that raw, visceral desire to just express themselves. Maybe it's how they inspire me. Maybe I envy them. Maybe.
I bought Uno (my camera) with the intention of shooting the surf and music scene. Although surf trips happened more often than attending gigs, I'm happy I got to score a few snaps of these musicians.
