Photographs, they haunt me lately

I will forget everything that happened in Pundaquit.

  
I will forget how many bus rides we took to get there...

...or how painful my reef cuts were.

I will forget how stoked I was on that very first ride outside my homebreak...

...or how long I was dragged underwater when I got stuck in someone else's leash.

I will forget that in this trip, I stayed in a tent for the first time in my life, and the gentle crashing of the waves lulled me to the most peaceful sleep I've had in so long.

But I will never forget this sunset.
